The Citizen Caliber 0200 Automatic Ref. (NC0200-90E)
Earlier this year, Citizen introduced a new watch model equipped with the Caliber 0200, its first mechanical movement designed after a very long time.
The model includes the new movement that was produced in collaborating with Swiss manufacturer La Joux-Perret, which it acquired back in 2012, combining the Swiss maker’s movement manufacturing and finishing expertise with its Japanese parent company’s mechanical design and assembly capabilities.
The Citizen Caliber 0200 is equipped with the brand’s first mechanical movement developed from scratch as a high-end caliber(“The Citizen” is the name of the watch model, while Caliber 0200 refers to movement as well as this specific model). Although the brand did launch a version of The Citizen with an automatic movement in 2010, the new Caliber 0200 is radically different, and far more superior.
